Goodness – it’s not looking good! Severe weather warnings have been issued for London and the South East. It looks like heavy rain and lots of gusty wind is heading our way. Not unusual for this time of year, and hopefully forewarned is forearmed but I’m sure we would all rather it stayed clear and reasonably mild, at least for another few weeks.
This is the time of year when your average tradesperson usually steps up and becomes the fourth emergency service! Whether it’s the plumber dealing with frozen pipes or stubborn boilers, or the electrician called out for blown fuses, overloaded with plugged in electric heaters!
Carpenters and joiners can also step in and offer you assistance in this current season. As you look out the window and see fence panels disappearing off across neighbours gardens and that shed roof you’ve been meaning to fix suddenly fly away into the distance, there are people out there that can come in and rectify these issues immediately.
If you’re feeling more confident and willing to get out there, face the weather and sort your own problems then we can help! We have a range of fence posts and panels in stock, whether you need a single one or if you’ve got to replace quite a few. We can also provide replacement felt for the shed roof!
You may find, as we have in our house, that actually the shocking weather drives you indoors and, although not emergency situations, you find yourself considering all those “winter jobs” that you’ve been putting off for months…. We’ve just replaced five upstairs internal doors, stripped wallpaper from two bedrooms and are in the planning stages of creating a shelving system for the under stairs cupboard – all brought about by a rainy weekend!
Forestrall can provide the necessary materials for many of the DIY jobs you might come up with. MDF for the shelving, sandpaper, wall paper remover, dust sheets – these were all on our weekend shopping list!
We are a small, independently owned business, so rather than getting lost in the large mass of DIY superstores, why not give us a call? We can give a personal service and will guide you in the right direction. You can be sure that if we don’t stock the product or can’t help you, then we will be able to point you in the right direction.
Do give us a call on 01474 833096, and we’d love to hear that you came to us via our blog! Or alternatively, drop us an e-mail on firstname.lastname@example.org
